The WCFab 3.5" High Flow Passenger Side Intercooler Pipe for 2020-2025 L5P 6.6L Duramax equipped Chevrolet Silverado or GMC Sierra 2500 / 3500 HD truck replaces the restricted OEM rubber/plastic design with a high flow, 14 ga. aluminum one piece 3.5" pipe. Includes black anodized CNC machined billet aluminum adapter with double o-ring seal, upgraded silicone boot, and stainless t-bolt clamps on upper connection and CNC machined flange with double o-ring seal at intercooler connection for improved pressure and temperature resistance vs. factory design.

Installation is straightforward. Remove intake airbox, passenger wheel and wheel well liner. Remove cold side pipe spring clamps and install the Wehrli.
Note: I initially tried to install without removing the wheel well liner but fought with the lower connection for 10 mins to no avail. Removed the liner and was able to get more leverage on the bottom. Took longer to jack up the truck, remove wheel and liner than connecting the lower end. YMMV.
I initially installed the K&N charge pipe but chose to replace it for two reasons. First, I was never really happy with their coupler. Wehrli resolves this with the billet aluminum adapter and silicone boot. Second, the K&N was still a 2 piece design with a double hump hose. I have put about 2500 miles on the K&N and the hump hose connection was rubbing on the bottom creating a wear point that would eventually fail. The Wehrli does not have this issue as it is a solid pipe with a silicone boot at the upper connection.
